Best of Smyrna Vinings
The third annual Best of Smyrna Vinings has officially launched. Beginning June 1, 2011 and running through until the end of August, SmyrnaVinings.com will be holding the Best of Smyrna Vinings contest. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to vote for their favorite local restaurants and businesses. Each poll has been broken down into various categories, i.e. Best Italian Cuisine, Best Outdoor Dining, Best Spa, Best Auto Mechanic, etc.
We’ve added three new categories this year, Best Tapas Restaurant, Best Ice Cream & Frozen Yoghurt and Best Hardware Store.
To vote, simply go to the Best of Smyrna Vinings 2011 summary page to see all the categories you can choose from.
If you’d like to nominate any additional restaurants or businesses, we’d love to have your input. You can suggest restaurants and businesses to be included into the voting the following ways.

We are newcomers to Vinings, so i (and you) are better off not to take my comments too seriously. Yet. My husband Scott and I have enjoyed 3 meals at SoHo and one at La Paz. We esp. want to return to the latter on a Wednesday night when they run that special on their best-of-rest Margueritas; We were just too weary last night to make the effort. A hidden gem is The Grape. I LOVE their heated Brie, wonderfully robust and easy to spread on the bread and crackers surrounding it. Also, on the plate were sliced apples and strawberries, again warmed to bring up their flavorful,tart ripeness. Then, to top it off and blend the cheese with the fruit, is an incredibly decadent and divine hot caramel topping. Share it with someone as an appetizer or a dessert. I’m drooling.

Absolutely hands down my favorite boutique in Smyrna/Vinings is Hand In Pocket. They have an amazing selection of clothing, jewelry and handbags. The ladies that work there always know how to make me look my best, I always have a wonderful experience every time I stop in. Love Love this place!
