Smyrna Vinings real estate market recap
Time for a little mid-year recap for the Smyrna Vinings real estate market. First up, will be single family homes. For the first six months of 2012, 658 Smyrna Vinings homes sold, with the highest price being $1.3 million for a lovely home in Cash Farms in Smyrna to $9,000 for a home in Smyrna, that was, shall we say, a fixer-upper.
Of the 658 homes that sold this year, the average sales price was $208,979. This compares with 540 Smyrna Vinings homes sold in the first six months of 2011, which equates to a 22% increase in total sales over the same period in 2011 as well as a 6 percent increase in the average sales price. Things are definitely picking up around here.
