The Taste of South Cobb will allow patrons to sample much of the region’s distinct flavors in one place, as this Festival will display an International Taste Row; a History Tour of South Cobb; Kids Corner; Wine Tasting; a Music Pavilion; Celebrity Chef Cooking Demonstration; First Responder’s Cook-off and WellStar Cobb’s Cooking 100% Farm Fresh Foods. Moreover, 100 percent of the profits from the Taste will benefit two of the ward’s non-profit groups.

The line up of the Taste will include a First Responders Cook-off, when local firefighters, EMS and police engage in a food battle for the 501c3s. Executive Chef Eric Spivey sponsors the WellStar Cobb Hospital Eat Well with Farm Fresh Foods.

The hours of the Taste of South Cobb are 11 am-7 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheater.

The Taste of South Cobb is a major fundraiser for two of the South Cobb area’s non-profits. The Taste of South Cobb benefits C.A.M.P. a food pantry serving over 800 hundred families per month with groceries, clothing and utility assistance, as well as Amateur Advocate Association, a group responsible for the positive guidance of youth and community. The Event is being supported by the South Cobb Arts Alliance, whose mission of is to build our community by encouraging appreciation and active participation in the visual arts, performing arts and local heritage.
