Come together with family, friends and community leaders to volunteer and celebrate in your neighborhood park. Bring gloves, tools, and a community spirit to one of these park locations on May 7 at 9:00 in the morning:
Jonquil Park / Rose Garden Park / Durham Park / Kidscape Village Playground at Cobb / Lake Court Park / Church Street Park / Tolleson Park / River Line Park (Work projects for volunteers will be assigned based on experience and interest level.)
After your moring “work”out, celebrate your efforts and have fun at Taylor-Brawner Park during Movie Night at the amphitheater. The Walt Disney film “Tangled” will be featured. Showtime is just after dark. Taylor-Brawner is at 3180 Atlanta Road. Please carpool, parking is limited.
