Join Smyrna for “Pat on the Porch” on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. for a very special concert at Taylor-Brawner Park. Pat Terry and friends, James Casto and Beth Wood will entertain and touch your heart strings. We call this a “Smyrna Family” gathering and “Smyrna Family” means you. Join us! And, you can bring food items and other donations to fill the MUST Ministries donation barrels that will be at the Park. (See list of items at the bottom this event listing.)

- A limited number of special reserved tables with meal and service options are available until they are all booked. Funds raised through the extra special table reservation/food service options are helping raise funds for MUST Ministries. Smyrna’s own Pat Terry will perform at “Pat on the Porch” as the first performer – with friends James Casto and Beth Wood – for this very special twist on Smyrna community events. They will, as the name implies, perform on the porch of Brawner Hall.
From his work with the Pat Terry Group in the 70s, through his groundbreaking solo albums in the 80s, to his more current songwriting successes, Pat continues a life in music which aims high and always connects to the heart. His songs have been recorded by a diverse list of country and gospel artists including Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, John Anderson, Sammy Kershaw, the Gather Vocal Band, and the Oak Ridge Boys. Jelly, canned tuna, boxed dinners, peanut butter, coffee, canned meats, beef stew, pancake mix, canned green peas, canned/dry milk, canned pastas, dry beans, canned fruit, dry potatoes, canned baked beans/pork & beans, sugar, tea, macaroni & Cheese, flavored rice, flavored pasta, chili, spaghetti sauce, oatmeal/grits, bread/muffin mix. Grocery gift cards are also accepted in the event that you are unable to shop for these items. …Did you know that MUST gives out 10 barrels (2,000 lbs.) of food or 2,500 canned items every day to feed the hungry in Cobb and Cherokee counties? There will be six barrels at Taylor-Brawner Park during the concert. Thank you!
