Nothing captures the spirit of Christmas better than singing carols, sipping on hot chocolate and nibbling on some red and green sprinkled cookies while adorning a beautifully decorated tree. The Embassy Suites Atlanta Galleria is celebrating their fourth annual Cobb Galleria Festival of Trees event which will showcase 38 Christmas trees that have been decorated in a contest for charities.
The fourth annual Cobb Galleria Festival of Trees is an excellent opportunity for the Atlanta community to make a difference in the lives of others by embodying the meaning of Christmas through fund raising for many worthy local charitable organizations. Admirers will be able to vote for their favorite tree or charity by donating money in envelopes designated at each tree. The tree with the highest monetary donation will receive an additional donation from the hotel so every vote matters!
The trees will be on display from November 18th and will stay up until January 1st, giving the community plenty of time to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful decorations and make a contribution.
In its inaugural year, the 2010 event raised $14,000. In its second year, the Cobb Galleria Festival of Trees set an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 for 30 local charities and raised $29, 618. Last year topped them all!
The Embassy Suites Atlanta Galleria will be serving free hot chocolate in the evening for anyone who wants to come out with family or friends to enjoy the 38 beautiful trees.
