This is one of my wife’s favorite days. She always likes to go shopping and tell me how much she’s saved. With Small Business Saturday, it’s just a little easier for her. Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country.
Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
This year, Small Business Saturday is on November 29th.
First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday. Now, there’s the 5th annual Small Business Saturday, the day people support small businesses. American Express is partnering with lots of local businesses.
This year, American Express is offering Card Members the opportunity to get a $10 statement credit when they enroll their eligible American Express Card and then use it to spend $10 or more in a single in – store transaction at a qualifying small business location on Small Business Saturday. And you can do this three times.
The number of enrollments is limited. Enrollment opened at 12:00AM MST on November 16th and continues until 11:59PM MST on November 29th unless the enrollment limit is reached sooner.
If millions of Americans shop small, it will be huge.
