The Smyrna Summer Concert Series 2024 continues tonight Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. featuring All the Locals and Uptown Funk. Admission is free.
All The Locals, are shaped and molded out of the very bricks that make up their southern metropolis. Soulful backbone, a rock n roll attitude, and a shaky blues breakdown of heartfelt lyrics, these locals, including their unique horn section n’ crew, vibe the best of Atlanta’s real image (hence the acronym A.T.L.) Praised for their effortlessly original and creative approach to songwriting, ATL’s one of the most distinct modern roots rock bands touring, due to its organically innovative, multi-genre reach and transcendent live shows. Their EP’s “All The Locals II and Something She Poured,” reached the top 20 on the college radio charts with spins in over 100 college and AAA radio markets nationwide. “All The Locals is an amalgamation of blues, neo-soul, and rock-n-roll,” says ATL producer John Briglevich (Goo Goo Dolls, Drivin-n-Cryin, Outkast). “Their music is hard to describe and that’s why I dig it.”
International touring sensation Uptown Funk invites you to experience the essence of Bruno Mars, his live band and the music that defines today’s pop culture. Uptown Funk specializes in the complete Bruno Mars experience concert production.
The musicians of Uptown funk love what they do and work hard at being the best and most dynamic tribute band in the industry. Uptown Funk has been performing since 2017 and plays all the hits exactly as Bruno Mars’ live band does onstage, including some of the most complex and challenging choreography for live audiences nationally and internationally.
Just a reminder that there are some things that are not allowed on the lawn – no tents, beach umbrellas, stakes (of any kind), tarps and no open flames (or appliance with fire or ember such as candles, grills of any size) are allowed on the lawn. You may bring low back lawn chairs, blankets and coolers. Also, please remember that all city events are non-smoking. See you there!
The Smyrna Summer Concert Series 2024 are a great time to spend with friends and family. So plan now. If you have not reserved a table for the concert, then be sure to plan accordingly. A blanket, some chairs, small table will do wonders. Be sure to call your friends to make sure they have it on the schedule and then start planning some great appetizers, drinks and desserts to bring to the festivities.
The Smyrna Summer Concert Series 2024 are Litter Free events. Keep Smyrna Beautiful will have recycling bins next to the garbage bins throughout the concert area for all concerts. You can recycle your glass, plastics, and aluminum cans. Thanks for helping us keep Smyrna clean, green and beautiful!
