The Vinings Historic Preservation Society is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Vinings Golf Classic on Monday, May 2nd at Bear’s Best Atlanta in Suwanee, GA.
Bear’s Best Atlanta is ranked in the “Top ten courses you can play in America” by Golf Magazine. Located in the upscale gated community of Edinburgh, Bear’s Best is a high-end daily fee course focused on corporate entertaining, golf outings and providing the experience of an luxurious private club at a public facility. Jack Nicklaus selected 18 holes from his more than 200 course designs worldwide and put them into one extraordinary round of golf at Bear’s Best Atlanta. Among the courses featured are Castle Pines, Muirfield Village, PGA National Championship Course, Sherwood Country Club, Shoal Creek and Gleneagles.
The 2011 tournament will be played Monday, May 2nd, at Bear’s Best Atlanta, located in Suwanee, Georgia with registration at 7am and tee time at 9am. As in year’s past, the format will be a scramble. And all the golfers will enjoy a Southern BBQ buffet after a strenuous morning on the course.
Note: All playing spots include golf fees, food and beverage on the course and one ticket to the SoHo Sunday Night Pairings Party from 6-9 pm @ SoHo in Vinings. Additional tickets to the Pairings Party are $45 in advance and $50 at the door.
The Sunday Night Pairings Party is Sunday, May 1st, at SOHO, the Zagat award-winning restaurant located in historic Vinings. Serving contemporary food in a lively environment, SOHO is a longtime neighborhood favorite and annual sponsor of the Vinings Golf Classic. Entertainment, food and libations are included with your ticket. We will also have a live and a silent auction. You or your business can be a part of the auction by donating an item or service. All of Vinings is invited to this party and you won’t want to miss it!
