Join Cobb County Safety Village as they hold 2023 Family Fun Safety Day.
Come tour Sparky’s House, enjoy safety games and up-close views of emergency vehicles at the 2023 Family Fun Safety Day! The event will be held at the Cobb Safety Village from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 and July 18, 2023.
Wear a firefighter hat, hop into a squad car, ring the firetruck bell and have more family fun at the Cobb County Safety Village. There are two dates remaining this summer for kids of all ages to learn about safety.
- Meet firefighters and emergency personnel – see their vehicles up close
- Tour Sparky’s house (Don’t know who Sparky is? He’s our mascot. Come meet him!)
- Visit the puppet show in our mini “Strand Theatre”
- Learn how to crawl low to escape smoke
- Learn how to call 911
- Learn how to reduce the fire hazards in your home
- Learn best practices for safety in the kitchen
- Learn about home fire drills
- And much more!

The cost is $5 per person, with a $20 max per family to attend the 2023 Family Fun Safety Day. For group rates of 20 or more, please call 770-852-3270.
Cobb County Safety Village, built on a 8 acre site, is the most comprehensive safety training environment in the region where our residents and business community gain knowledge through hands on experiences….a place where the walls come alive with knowledge while instructors share the most advanced techniques and ideas for making our community safer. Local organizations are invited to construct reduced-scale buildings at a limited number of sites in the safety village. These life like streets include sidewalks, traffic signals and a variety of structures that represent our community. These structures will become an integral part of the learning experience.
