Where will you be watching your 2023 4th of July Fireworks Celebrations? As I’m sure you know, Smyrna Vinings does not hold their own fireworks show on July 4th. Our big fireworks show comes up during the upcoming Smyrna Birthday celebration in August. So if you’re wanting a fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day, here are some of the options in metro Atlanta.
Look Up Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park
America’s largest metropolitan fireworks show, Look Up Atlanta, returns to Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, July 1, 2023! Look Up Atlanta features the best of Atlanta, for Atlantans. See the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, as well as performances by some of the most talented local acts in this year’s inaugural Georgia Music Showcase. VIP tickets are available for an elevated experience, including curated food offerings from some of the city’s top chefs.
Decatur’s Pied Piper Parade, Concert & Fireworks on the 4th
Celebrate the Fourth of July hometown-style in downtown Decatur! Watch (or join in) the Pied Piper Parade as it winds through downtown with floats, wagons, and bicycles. Gather friends and family to ride, walk, or skate in this community parade – it’s for anyone and everyone! Neighborhoods and organizations are encouraged to join the fun too. And don’t forget your red, white and blue!
Head to the community bandstand to listen to live music on the square. Summer Covers Concerts on the Square at 5 pm (MetroGnomes) and 7 pm (Ghoststories).
End the evening with a boom! Fireworks start at dark (approximately 9 pm).
Roswell’s Annual Fireworks Extravaganza
Join us at Roswell Area Park for live music, entertainment, and food trucks. Bring your chairs and blankets to spread out at one of several fireworks viewing areas throughout the park. Fireworks will start at sunset.
July 4th Festivities and Fireworks at Wills Park in Alpharetta
Celebrate our great nation with your family under the stars watching a brilliant display of fireworks at dusk in Wills Park. Fireworks will commence when the sky is dark; approximately 9:30 p.m. If there is a weather delay, the latest start-of-show will be 10:40 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring-your-own-fun with a blanket, picnic, and games for a memorable evening together.
Marietta Fourth of July Celebration on the Marietta Square
The City of Marietta’s 4th In The Park Celebration begins Tuesday, July 4, 2023!
Grab your American flag, put on your red, white, and blue, and celebrate America’s independence from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with an Independence Day parade and celebration on the Square, presented by Superior Plumbing. Enjoy free live concerts, an arts and crafts show, food, carnival games, and the City of Marietta fireworks finale. Throughout the day. more than 80,000 people are expected to celebrate on the Square with great food, fun activities, the best arts and crafts around, and free entertainment.
Stone Mountain Park: 50th Annual Fantastic Fourth Celebration
Fantastic Fourth Celebration was voted the Best Place to see Fireworks in Atlanta by Atlanta Journal-Constitution readers, a Must-See Fireworks Show by USA Today and one of Reader’s Digest’s picks for America’s Most Spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks. Stone Mountain Park is hosting 5 days of festivities from July 1 through July 5. There will be decorations, live music and a patriotic fireworks display each night.
Enjoy a day full of adventure with great family attractions, live entertainment during Summer at the Rock, hike the one-mile trail to the top of Stone Mountain for some amazing views of downtown Atlanta, explore the miles of wooded trails throughout the park and relax in nature, then stay into the evening to experience the NEW Music Across America Light Show presented by the Georgia Office of Highway Safety followed by the EXACT SAME patriotic fireworks finale each night of the celebration!
Sandy Springs Stars and Stripes Celebration
It’s become a much-anticipated tradition, and on Thursday, July 4, 2023, the Sandy Springs community will gather at City Springs to celebrate the nation’s birthday as part of the City’s Stars and Stripes Celebration. Music from The Platinum Band will begin at 7:30 pm and fireworks will dazzle the sky beginning at 9:30 pm. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars.
