Emory-Adventist Hospital’s 21st annual ‘Swing into Spring’ Golf Tournament will take place Monday, April 29, 2013 at Brookstone Golf & Country Club in Acworth.
This year’s tournament will benefit the Foundation’s fundraising efforts campaign to purchase 23 new patient beds for the hospital.
Brookstone Golf & Country Club’s 6,815-yard, par-72 championship layout was designed by Larry Nelson to take full advantage of the landscape’s natural contours and breathtaking beauty. With large mature trees, this course has moderately tight fairways with large, rolling Champions hybrid greens. Ponds, lakes, and creeks come into play on half of the course. The signature hole is #14, a 440-yard, par 4, with a slight dogleg left fairway that is guarded on the left by a creek. Then the approach shot is to an elevated, undulating green which is surrounded by sand and grass bunkers. The home hole brings you through the trees to a well-protected green and a magnificent, welcoming clubhouse. An enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities.
Foursomes begin at $650 and include cart, greens fee, gift bag, range balls, sleeve of balls, breakfast sandwiches, and food and beverages at the awards reception.
