The 2010 Charyn Darby Race to See is a 5K Race and a 1K Walk benefiting Vision Rehabilitation Services providing life-changing services to people who are blind or visually impaired. The race and walk will be held on Saturdy, October 23, 2010 at 8am. This 5K certified Peachtree qualifying race has a challenging course that winds through downtown Smyrna and surrounding neighborhoods.
Added this year will be a pre-race spaghetti supper on Friday, October 22nd, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Smyrna Community Center. Price is $10 for adults, $5 for kids (11 and older) and kids 10 and younger are free. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.
Race day registration begins at 7am on Saturday with both the 5K Race and a 1K walk starting at 8am at Cobb Park, across from Campbell High School at 2776 Sanford Road, Smyrna, GA 30080.
