The Smyrna Stars is an AAU (Amateur Athletic Union)/ YBOA basketball program that promotes and teaches teamwork, sportsmanship, good conduct, leadership and character values to boys and girls, ages 9-17 years old. The Smyrna Stars programs have helped many young men obtain academic and athletic college scholarships.
All of our directors, coaches, and other association personnel are volunteers and receive no compensation other than the satisfaction that we are helping to develop future model citizens for our communities.
The Board of Directors, the City of Smyrna, the parents, sponsors and other community businesses continue their commitment to provide Smyrna’s youth with a professionally operated and instructional basketball program. This program will focus primarily on the development aspects of the sport for PLAYERS, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship.
