Tomato season is upon us and South City Kitchen Vinings (SCKV) is celebrating with TomatoJam!
Running through Saturday, August 22nd, South City Kitchen Vinings will offer an exclusive tomato-centric menu in addition to the regular dinner menu so you can eat all the tomatoes or just a few.
Small Plates:
- Roasted Corn & Ricotta Agnolotti with blistered cherry tomato, preserved lemon, torn herbs
- Pickled Shrimp with confit heirloom cherry tomatoes, white BBQ sauce, watercress, bread crumbs
- Tomato Pie with sliced radish, arugula
- Burrata with cucumber, sungold tomatoes, pickled red onion, basil oil
- Sliced Heirloom Tomato with roasted garlic mayo, smoked sea salt
- Heirloom Tomato Risotto with tomato water, basil, aged Jack cheese
- Confit Pork Bruschetta with black garlic mayonnaise, heirloom tomato relish
- Heirloom Tomato Salad with watermelon radish, arugula, Valbreso feta, preserved lemon vinaigrette
- Escargot with roasted cherry tomato, caramelized Vidalia, griddled foccacia, herb butter
Entrees:
- Southern Seafood Stew with Sapelo Isle clams, crawfish, tomato shrimp broth, fennel, Red Mule Grits polenta
- Lamb Ragu with housemade chitarra, basil oil, Belle Chevre goat cheese
- Grilled Wild Salmon with sliced heirloom tomatoes, charred padrón peppers, arugula herb salad, lemon oil M/P
- Hanger Steak with preserved tomato butter, baby potatoes, braised peppers and onions
- Smoked Pork Chop with curried tomato, roasted eggplant, pickled okra
- Georgia Mountain Trout with asparagus heirloom tomato succotash, country ham vinaigrette
