Smyrna Parks and Recreation will cut the ribbon on the new North Cooper Lake Mountain Bike Park (4201 Cooper Lake Road) on Saturday, October 19. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 10:00 am.
Following the ribbon cutting, the Jonquil City Kiwanis will be hosting a Kids Bike Rodeo from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. A limited supplies of bike helmets, t-shirts, hats and stickers will be given away.
Bring the family and bikes out to enjoy this multi-use trail system. There is also a bicycle playground that has been specifically designed for young and beginner riders. This system has a variety of beginner and intermediate level riding opportunities.
Don’t have a bike, don’t worry, this new park also has some purpose-built trails optimized for hikers and dog walkers.
North Cooper Lake Park is a 51-acre park featuring a community garden, open space, and mountain bike trail.
