Are you ready for some basketball? Well, Smyrna Basketball Association is the place to be for boys and girls, ages 6 – 16 to get on the court and have some fun!

Whether you are a returning player or a first-timer, your child will have a great time learning the fundamentals of basketball and playing full court games (score-keeping and all!) against other teams – in a fun spirited, friendly competitive, supportive environment! Parents love to watch and the kids love to play!! Over 300+ children play with them every year and this year will be no exception – they are ready for another great season.

Players practice once a week and play games on Saturday. Registration fees include a jersey and shorts, and at least one trophy at the end of the season. If your team wins during the playoffs, more trophies are earned. We also have academic awards that are given to players in the 1st grade and up that maintain good grades – books before baskets!

Calling all girls and 13 and up boys!! Our girls division is growing fast, and we would love to add more girls to our teams, so come on out and pass the word! We would love to have more middle school and high school boys to also join the action!

Online registration opened September 1, 2011 – please visit their website at www.smyrnabasketball.net to register.

NEW THIS YEAR – the City of Smyrna has instituted a facility use fee that affects all of the sports organizations in Smyrna. All players must pay a mandatory facility use fee of $15.00 per player, which must be added to your registration total.

Space in the Smyrna Basketball league is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. Many age divisions fill up fast, so don’t delay!
