Don’t miss this flat and fast 10K Peachtree Road Race qualifier! Metro Area Running Club (MARC) will be hosting the 2019 Smyrna Village 10K on Saturday, November 16, 2019. This will be a fun and exciting race promoting health and wellness in the beautiful community of Smyrna. People of all ages are welcome to participate in this event. This is an opportunity to PR your 10K distance race with a course that is flat with one short downhill and uphill.

RACE COURSE
The course is an out and back on Atlanta Rd. It turns south from Smyrna Market Village onto Atlanta Rd. and reverses course near the intersection of Atlanta Rd. and the East West Connector.
The course will be open 1 hour 40 minutes. Participants on the course after 9:25 am will be directed to the sidewalk to finish their race. Finish line will stay open until 9:30 am.
Strollers are allowed, but single file only and to the right. Strollers will start at the back of the race start.
PARKING
Race parking will be available in a variety of locations in downtown Smyrna starting at 6:30 am.
Volunteers will be directing traffic into parking lot behind the Smyrna Community Center. This parking lot can be accessed via Powder Springs St. SE.
Parking is also available at:
• First Methodist Church at the corner of King and Concord Rd
• First Baptist Church of Smyrna off of King Street
• Smyrna Public Library rear parking lot off Bank Street
• Smyrna Government Building rear parking lot off King Street
AWARDS/DRAWINGS
Awards will begin at 9:00 am and made in the following categories:
• Top 3 Overall Male/ Female
• Masters Male/Female
• Top 3 Male and Female in each specified age groups
Drawings for great door prizes will be given as well.
PRE RACE BIB/PACKET PICK UP
We will have bib/package pickup at two locations:
Thursday, November 14, from 3pm to 7pm at Bad Daddy’s on Atlanta Road!
If you eat there you’ll get 15% off your meal if you show them your number!
Friday, November 15, from 4pm to 7pm at Big Peach Running Co.in Kennesaw
RACE DAY BIB/PACKET PICKUP
Start: 6:30 am
Finish: 7:30am
Race Day Registration is also available for $50.00 and will take place from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. Check or cash preferred.
Donations and proceeds from the race will go to local charities to be determined by MARC (Metro Area Running Club). Past races have donated to the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, the Smyrna Education Foundation and Boy Scout Troop 11.
People of all ages and paces are welcome!
The race starts and finishes at the Smyrna Community Center. The Center will be open so participants can gather for coffee and have access to indoor bathrooms.
