2016 Smyrna Basketball Registration
Smyrna Basketball Association is the place to be for boys and girls, ages 6 – 16 to get on the court and have some fun! Are you ready for some basketball?
The Smyrna basketball league is open to boys and girls, ages 6-16 in the Smyrna and surrounding areas. The Board of Directors, City of Smyrna, Parents, Sponsors and various Community Businesses continue their support & commitment to the program. Smyrna Basketball is a professionally operated and instructional basketball organization. The program focuses on skills development, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship. They proudly recognize academic achievement for all 4th grade and up players.
Players practice once a week and play games on Saturday. Registration fees include a jersey and shorts, and at least one trophy at the end of the season. If your team wins during the playoffs, more trophies are earned. All players, 4th Grade and up, with a “B” average or higher are recognized during our Closing Ceremonies with the largest trophy that is awarded!
Most games are played at Smyrna Community Center. Games are played on Saturdays. There is only one game per week. There is an 8-game season, plus the playoffs, championships, all-star games, 3-Point Shooting & Free-Throw Shooting Contests. Saturday games begin at 9:00 am.

Registration Fee for the 2016-2017 season is $190. This includes the $15.00 Facility Use Fee charged by the City of Smyrna for each child participating in the league. A $20.00 late registration fee will apply to all registrations submitted on or after October 1st. SBA will supply the basketball uniform consisting of a reversible jersey and shorts. It is mandatory that all parents come to the player skills assessment.
Space in the Smyrna Basketball league is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. Many age divisions fill up fast, so don’t delay!
