Channel your internal Tom Sawyer and come help whitewash the fences at the Vinings Historic Preservation Society. They really need your help!
The Vinings Community Conservation Alliance (VCCA) is convening a Green Apple Day of Service in Vinings on Saturday, September 24th, to benefit Vinings Historic Preservation Society. This is a chance to give back to our community in a simple way! Just donate 45 minutes of your time and talent on a Saturday morning.
Painting slots are available for 9am, 9:45am, 10:30am, 11:15am or noon. Please send an email to nancy@green2sustainable.com and let them know:
- the names of your volunteers
- your first and second choice of time slots (first come first served!)
- whether you represent a group
We will add your names to the list and send you emails with any updates. Teams of two or more are great….or come alone and we will pair you up! Adopt a section of the fence and make it beautiful!
Students can earn service credit and a letter will be sent to your school recognizing your contribution.
Marshall McCabe, owner of Chick-fil-A Akers Mill and Cumberland Mall locations will provide sandwiches for the volunteers on Green Apple Day of Service in Vinings!
