Keep Smyrna Beautiful will be conducting the 10th annual Smyrna Garden Tour on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Come and be amazed by the variety and beauty of gardens that are tucked away in the Smyrna community. Smyrna has fabulous gardens and this year Keep Smyrna Beautiful gives you a chance to get an inside look at the gardening talents of our active and resourceful citizens.

Tickets for 2018 Smyrna Garden Tour are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the tour. Tickets are on sale now at Neighbors Feed and Seed Supply, Love Street on Concord Road, Vickery Hardware,The Bird and the Bee, the Recycling Center (3475 Lake Drive) and the Community Center. The 2018 Smyrna Garden Tour tickets are $15 in advance / $20 day of event and are available for purchase at: Vickery Hardware, Love Street, Neighbors Feed & Seed, Smyrna Community Center and the Smyrna Recycling Center.
The gardens offer an assortment of sizes, styles, terrain, and plantings to ensure each visitor leaves with at least one idea they can use in their own garden. Though you may begin your tour at any of the garden locations (with a purchased ticket), it is recommended that your first stop be at the newly renovated Reed House on Atlanta Road. The 1910 historic home will host a plant sale, sponsor tables, refreshments and a raffle of great prizes. All proceeds of the tour will be awarded in grants to Smyrna area schools in support of gardening, recycling and academic goals.
Visit five (5) beautiful and unique gardens within Smyrna. Each garden has a distinctive personality. After your visit come back to the Reed House and visit the Tea Room and peruse the plant sale. This event for gardeners, and those that want to be gardeners. You will take away ideas for your own space. All proceeds support Keep Smyrna Beautiful’s scholarships for Smyrna schools.
The following are some helpful tips:
* Rain or shine
* Carpool if possible; parking will be limited
* Wear comfortable walking shoes. You may want to bring along your preferred sunscreen and insect repellent in case you need them.
* Restrooms and free refreshments are available at the Tea Room .
* Strollers will not be appropriate for all gardens.
