Description

A very popular public park area.. In 2007 the Kidscape Village was given a major upgrade and several new play structures and picnic tables are located throughout. The Kidscape Village offers advanced playground sets for older kids as well as easier slides and swings for toddlers.

In addition to the playground upgrade, several trees and bushes were replanted along the border areas of the park that creates a very tranquil and contemporary feel to the park. Beyond the Kidscape Village is the public baseball park named Cobb Park. This area can be utilized for all sports. Restrooms are located on the premises.

I am not sure there is a bigger playground set area in Smyrna if not all of Atlanta. The recent upgrades to this park are amazing! The exercise my kids are getting at this park are endless. And, there are several nice benches, beneath shaded trees, for you to sit and keep an eye on your little ones.

However, be very careful about taking your toddlers to the park on the weekend because it can get very crowded.

Several neighborhood kids meet in the morning time during the week for playgroups and its an easy way to meet other stay-at-home parents.
