Plan to attend a special event in conjunction with the “We Can!” fitness and health initiative and in the downtown. Enjoy outdoor games for the whole family along with bicycle/scooter safety training and checks done in a really fun way. Bike safety is handled by SAFE KIDS Cobb County Coalition, a non-profit, charitable organization and network of SAFE KIDS USA, the first and only national organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury–the number one killer of children ages 14 and under.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 21st from 9am – 12pm. There is no cost to attend the event. It will be held at the Smyrna Village Green, 2800 King Street, Smyrna, Georgia 30080.

The word of the day is Safety and the Smyrna Fire Department will be there with a truck to touch and the Fire Safety House. Other special guests include Paco, the Smyrna Police Dog, “Homer” the Brave, Dr. WellBee and “Brock Lee.”
