Where will you be watching your 2024 4th of July Fireworks Celebrations? As I’m sure you know, Smyrna Vinings does not hold their own fireworks show on July 4th. Our big fireworks show comes up during the upcoming Smyrna Birthday celebration. So if you’re wanting a fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day, here are some of the options in metro Atlanta.
Kennesaw Salute to America
The City of Kennesaw’s Independence Day on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 will be a celebration of freedom, music and fireworks is one of the biggest and best in North Georgia! Salute to America will feature two stages of live music, festive street entertainment, food vendors and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Marietta Fourth of July Celebration on the Marietta Square
The City of Marietta’s 4th In The Park Celebration begins Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 10:00am and includes a parade, free live concerts, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.
Grab your American flag, put on your red, white, and blue, and celebrate America’s independence from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with an Independence Day parade and celebration on the Square. Enjoy free live concerts, an arts and crafts show, food, carnival games, and the City of Marietta fireworks finale. Throughout the day more than 80,000 people are expected to celebrate on the Square with great food, fun activities, the best arts and crafts around, and free entertainment.
Decatur’s Pied Piper Parade, Concert & Fireworks on the 4th
Watch (or join in) the Pied Piper Parade as it winds through downtown with floats, wagons, and bicycles. Head to the community bandstand to listen to live music on the square. MetroGnomes will play at 7 pm.
End the evening with a boom! Fireworks start at dark (approximately 9 pm). Get here early to to claim your space on the lawn for the show. And don’t forget your red, white and blue!
Roswell’s Annual Fireworks Extravaganza
Join us at Roswell Area Park for live music, entertainment, and food trucks. Bring your chairs and blankets to spread out at one of several fireworks viewing areas throughout the park. Fireworks will start at sunset.
July 4th Festivities and Fireworks at Wills Park in Alpharetta
Celebrate our great nation with your family under the stars watching a brilliant display of fireworks at dusk in Wills Park. Fireworks will commence at 9:15 p.m. If there is a weather delay, the latest start-of-show will be 10:40 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring-your-own-fun with a blanket, picnic, and games for a memorable evening together.
Stone Mountain Park: 50th Annual Fantastic Fourth Celebration
Fantastic Fourth Celebration was voted the Best Place to see Fireworks in Atlanta by Atlanta Journal-Constitution readers, a Must-See Fireworks Show by USA Today and one of Reader’s Digest’s picks for America’s Most Spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks. Stone Mountain Park is hosting 5 days of festivities from July 1 through July 7. There will be decorations, live music and a patriotic fireworks display each night.

Sandy Springs Stars and Stripes Celebration
It’s become a much-anticipated tradition, and on Thursday, July 4, 2024, the Sandy Springs community will gather at City Springs to celebrate the nation’s birthday as part of the City’s Stars and Stripes Celebration. Music from A-Town A-List will begin at 7:30 pm and fireworks will dazzle the sky beginning at 9:30 pm. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars.
