In our last class, Home Search – Lesson 101, we covered the Quick Search which led us to the search results page. In today’s lesson, we’d like to cover some of the great features, tools and options available to you once you reach the search results.
As you can see below, you’ll be given a list of all the homes, condos and townhomes that meet your search criteria and you’ll know how many match your criteria. In this case, there are more than 300 properties.
From here you have multiple options.
- You can click on the picture or address to go straight to the detailed Property Report.
- You can click on the Virtual Tour or Photo Tour to go straight to seeing more pictures or
- You can click on SAVE to save the property to your personal Property Organizer.
If you choose the first option noted above, you go to the Property Report where you can lots of information about the property.
The first thing you’ll notice from the Property Report is that you can simply click NEXT to move onto the next property rather than going back to the detailed list if you prefer.
Another great feature is the “Request More Info” at the top right of the property report. Add your contact info, a message and then click “Send Request”. One of our agents will get right back to you to answer your questions.
Just below the “Request More Info” section in the Additional Links, you’ll notice “Schedule a Showing”. Click on that and you’ll be able to send in a preferred showing time for the property. One of our agents will get right back to you.
Other great features in the Additional Links section include Save Listing (saves to your Property Organizer), Map Location (get a satellite image), Mortgage Calculator and School Information.
The Save Listing function is great and if you click on this you’ll be taken to the following page where you can either login or register.
In the future, you’ll be able to go straight to this page to login, by simply clicking on the Search for Homes on the top menu, then scroll down to Property Organizer.
Once you’ve set up a Property Organizer, you’ll really enjoy a lot of the great benefits and efficiencies inherit in having you’re own personal Property Organizer. We’ll cover the Property Organizer in more depth in our next class, but for now it’s time for recess.
