Smyrna is situated in the 30080 and 30082 zip codes and is largely situated between Cobb Parkway on the East, I-285 along the southern side along with the East-West Connector, out to Hicks Road on the western edge and just north of Windy Hill Road on the northern edge. The majority of this area is incorporated within the City of Smyrna. In addition, some areas of the 30126 zip code have now been incorporated into the city of Smyrna. And in 2014, some parts of the city of Smyrna inside I-285 along Atlanta Road had their zip code changed to 30339, so while still in the city of Smyrna, now have an Atlanta mailing address. Cobb County School System operates the public schools serving Smyrna. The public elementary schools include Teasley Elementary, King Springs Elementary, Nickajack Elementary, Smyrna Elementary, Argyle Elementary, Campbell Middle School and Campbell High School. Cobb County’s International Baccalaureate magnet program is centered at Campbell High School.
