Opening Reception is Friday, October 4 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. / Exhibit open Saturday, October 5 through Saturday, October 12 from noon until 5:00 p.m.
The Taylor-Brawner House Foundation and the City of Smyrna are pleased to announce their fifth annual fine art exhibit and sale, to be held Friday October 4th through Saturday the 12th, at Smyrna’s historic Taylor-Brawner House. Located at 3182 Atlanta Road, the show will feature original offerings by some of the regions’ most accomplished and award winning artists. The show will feature oil, acrylic, pastel, and water color paintings, exquisite carvings and turnings, original sculptures, unique ceramics and pottery, professional photo art, and much more. Each wall-displayed piece is jury selected, is original and one-of-a-kind, and the offerings are enhanced by special lighting furnished by the M-Design Company. Many paintings are available unframed.
Photographic art has been added this year, along with several new artists. And each visitor to the show will be asked to acknowledge their favorite art on a ballot, and a People’s Choice Award will be given to the artist garnering the most votes. As always, demonstrations by various artists will be on-going during the week.
Be sure to meet all the artists and admire their work at the open house reception, Friday evening October 4th 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Wine and light refreshments will be furnished. The house will be open daily Saturday October 5th through October 12th, noon to 5:00 pm.
