2019 Smyrna Fall Jonquil Festival

You are invited to the upcoming 2019 Smyrna Fall Jonquil Festival on October 26th & 27th. The festival hours of operation are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 26th and Noon – 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th.

The festival has a history of over 22 years and will feature over 125 hand-made arts & crafts booths, local non-profit booths, puppet shows, live music, plenty of festival foods, and all types of children’s activities.  They will also have local entertainment on the stage in front of the library. Artisans are from all over the southeast and feature their own handmade crafts, paintings, clothing, furniture, jewelry and much more.

Things kick off for the festivities with a Smyrna Police Annual Kids Halloween Parade with registration from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Smyrna First Baptist Church north parking lot, located at 1275 Church Street Smyrna, GA 30080. Exactly at 9:15 a.m., the parade will begin and the contestants will walk from the Smyrna First Baptist Church Parking lot to the Memorial field located between the Library and City Hall/Bank Street.

Once all the contestants are on the field, our celebrity judges will judge the various categories.

The 2019 Smyrna Fall Jonquil Festival is held on the beautiful Village Green in downtown Smyrna, Georgia next to the fabulous Market Village.

Book Lovers Take Note! The annual Friends of the Smyrna Library Used Book Sale that usually happens outside during the Fall Jonquil Festival has been moved this year to November 15 – 18. Don’t worry about the weather…. you get to shop at the Smyrna Public Library (in the meeting room) on Fri., Nov. 15 10 am to 6 pm / Sat., Nov. 16 from 10 am to 5 pm / Sun., Nov. 17 from 1 pm to 6 pm and Mon., Nov. 18 from 10 am to 8 pm.
