Mark your calendars for Smyrna Business Association‘s September luncheon, which will be held at the Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle, Smyrna, GA 30080. The luncheon is from 11:30 to 1:00pm on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Cost is $15 for members who RSVP and $20 for non-members.
The September Speaker will be Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Owner, Kristi Janman and General Manager, Emily McMillan!
Kristi Janman has been fortunate to have had a rich career in hospitality, beginning way early on waiting tables in high school and then spending most of her years (20!) in a thriving global hotel company. She has been blessed to have worked alongside and learned from some of the best in the industry. Kristi always had a strong passion for people and leadership and when she left the corporate world in 2015, she had a vision for building a business that is aimed at enriching the lives of others. She is delighted to have joined the Nothing Bundt Cakes family and is thriving as her and her daughter build their business. These days, she’s getting to do what she loves most – developing an engaged, high-performing team and cultivating new relationships with members of her community as she works to find new ways to serve!
Emily McMillan is General Manager of Nothing Bundt Cakes in Kennesaw, and of their new Smyrna location! She uses her core values of leadership, courage, ambition, adaptability, and encouragement on an everyday basis. She is an Ambassador for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and loves her job fiercely and the community around her! Emily works hard to make an impact while serving others with a servants heart.
