2nd Annual  Tales, Tricks & Treats

Join the Smyrna Arts & Cultural Council for the 2nd Annual Tales, Tricks & Treats at Tolleson Park on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 6:30pm!  There will be fun for the whole family including ‘spooky’ and ‘not-so-spooky’ storytelling, chalk art, trick-or-treating  & more! Make your way around the park to enjoy all the activities. Don’t forget to wear your costumes! The 2nd Annual Tales, Tricks & Treats is a family-friendly event and is FREE to attend.

For the Entire Family…

Glow Stick Necklaces and Bracelets: Come to the SACC tent and buy one glow necklace for $1 or two glow bracelets for a $1. (Please bring $1 bills.)

Not-So-Spooky Storytelling: Age appropriate storytellers will  entertain and delight kids with with their fun tales and stories sure to put a smile on every face.

Face Painting: Last minute costume?  No problem? Feeling like a princess or a pirate? Stop by our free face painting table and have something creative or boo-tiful created just for you.

Sidewalk Chalk Art: Feeling artistic? Try your hand at some Halloween inspired art in our 1000 square foot drawing space.

​Trick Or Treat Stations:  Who says you have to go door to door? Grab your Halloween pail or candy sack and trick r treat in our family-friendly kids area amongst pumpkins and happy scarecrows.

For The Older Kids…

Haunted House: Looking for something a little more spooky? Stop by our local graveyard and then enter our haunted house display for real treat. When the sun goes down and the fog rolls in you’ll never know what kind of spirits or ghosts you might see.

Spooky Storytelling: Join our storyteller for an evening of thrills, chills, and surprises as she tells tales of Halloween.

Superhero Track and Field: Join the team of Superheros from Smyrna’s UFC Gym for a Halloween competition and prizes!

The 2nd Annual Tales, Tricks & Treats will take place in the “Lower Section” of Tolleson Park. The entrance is located on McCaulkey Road a tenth of a mile from the intersection of South Cobb Drive and McCauley Road. The park entrance road leads to the parking lot and the event.

You can also park in the “Upper Section” of Tolleson Park off of King Springs Road. Park next to the pool and take a short walk on the sidewalk to the “Lower Section” where Tales, Tricks & Treats will be held.
