2017 Cobb County Touch-A-Truck

 

The Cobb County Safety Village will be hosting the 2017 Cobb County Touch-A-Truck Event on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Town Center Mall in the lower parking lot near Sears. The event will include family-friendly fun and educational events for children of all ages.

The 2016 Cobb County Touch-A-Truck event is always popular with the kids. A family-friendly, fun and educational event for kids of all ages. Come explore:

  • Police Cars
  • SWAT Trucks
  • Fire Rescue Trucks
  • Fire Engines
  • Heavy Construction Vehicles
  • Dump Trucks
  • Front End Loaders
  • TV Trucks
  • Military Vehicles
  • Police Helicopter

The cost is $5 per person, with a $20 max per family. All proceeds benefit the Cobb County Safety Village.

Cobb County Safety Village, built on a 8 acre site, is the most comprehensive safety training environment in the region where our residents and business community gain knowledge through hands on experiences….a place where the walls come alive with knowledge while instructors share the most advanced techniques and ideas for making our community safer. Local organizations are invited to construct reduced-scale buildings at a limited number of sites in the safety village. These life like streets include sidewalks, traffic signals and a variety of structures that represent our community. These structures will become an integral part of the learning experience.
