Vinings residents are invited to a kick-off meeting to discuss your vision and goals for the Downtown Vinings Community. Your input will assist in the development of design guidelines, capitalizing on Vinings’ community assets, inspiration and potential, while creating public spaces that promote health, happiness and well-being.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Cochise Riverview Club, 3795 Cochise Drive SE in Vinings.
A stakeholder meeting will be held in May, with the final public input meeting in June. Design guidelines help Cobb county staff in determining future development needs and requests.The project is estimated to take six to eight months to complete. Cobb County already has design guidelines established on Atlanta Road, Canton Road, Dallas Highway and Macland Road.
