2017 Upward Sports softball and baseball

2017 Upward Sports softball and baseball offers an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K-4 through 8th grade. It will be a great time to connect with friends, have fun in sports, and grow closer to God. Upward Sports promotes salvation, character and self-esteem in every child.

  • Softball is offered for K4-8th grade girls.
  • Tee-ball is offered for k4-1st grade boys.
  • Coach Pitch baseball is offered for 1st-2nd grade boys and 3rd-4th grade leagues.

Teams practice one night a week for one hour. Games are played on Saturday for one hour and concessions are offered all day.

2017 Upward Sports softball and baseball early registration cost is $115.00. After March 12th, the cost is $125.00. The registration deadline is March 12, 2017. Please register online or you may download the registration form and take it with payment to the church office between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

League Schedule

Everyone MUST attend one 2017 Upward Sports softball and baseball evaluation for uniform sizing or sign-up. Evaluations will be held at the FBC Smyrna Athletic Field, 1275 Church Street, Smyrna, GA 30080.

Evaluation #1: Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6pm – 8pm (all ages)

Evaluation #2: Saturday, March 1, 2017 from 9am – 1pm (all ages)

  • Practices Begin – Week of Monday, March 20th, 2017.
  • First Game – Saturday, April 1, 2017.
  • Last Game – Saturday, May 20, 2017.
  • Awards Celebration – Saturday, May 20th, 2017.
