9th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival

The 9th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival provides a unique smooth jazz experience for smooth jazz music fans.  This is an all day smooth jazz music event on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Mable House Amphitheater in Mableton.

The 9th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival features international and national award winning recording artists, such as: Canada’s Smooth Jazz Artists of the Year, saxophonist Warren Hill; Three time Emmy Award Winner guitarist Chieli Minucci; and, Billboard Top 20 Chart Topper guitarist Steve Oliver.

In addition to these well celebrated artists, the festival will also feature an incredible trio Generation NeXt.  Generation NeXt features keyboardist Nicholas Cole, trumpeter Lin Rountree, and saxophonist Lebron.   They are young, fresh, and perform as if they have something to prove.  Whether they are performing their solo act or collaborative efforts, it’s a real treat.

Saxophonist  Jazmin Ghent is a rising star.  Her solo career is well underway.   She’s also had the opportunity to perform with jazz female superstars in Jazz In Pink.  San Francisco’s saxophonist Greg Chambers will take time from classroom to share his exceptional talents.  His students probably don’t realize just how cool he and his music are.

The 9th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival is a platform that supports the Jazz Music Alliance.  JMA is a not for profit organization whose goal is to keep the music we love, smooth jazz alive with live performances and education.  This year, we are pleased to introduce a future smooth jazz performer as the opener for the Atlanta Smooth Music Festival.
